At 15:58, June 8th, 2010, the commissioning of 34 offshore wind turbines in the first Asian offshore wind farm, Shanghai Donghai Bridge 3MW Project, was completed and all turbines were connected to grids and put into operations. Therefore, Sinovel has set up another milestone in the history of Chinese wind power and realized China's dream of offshore wind power, which enables continuous supply of green & clean energy to cities. It is a remarkable achievement to finish commissioning 15 offshore wind turbines from May 15th to June 8th, i.e. within 24 days. Similar to the demonstration effect of the first offshore wind farm, this speed is also a new benchmark in the field of China's offshore wind power. In order to ensure effective working hours and commissioning efficiency, commissioning staffs lived with the turbines and stood fast at their posts. Enthusiastic discussions and thunderous cheers on the walkie-talkie frequently bursted out at night, reflecting unmatchable optimism and perseverance. The days and nights with the turbines was a period to remember.

Without disciplined logistical supports, high efficiency is impossible; the whole delivery chain with interlocking loops and high performance, from feedback of field operations to timely response from the logistics, to distribution & provision of spare parts, and to running of vessel traffic, provided prompt material support to field work. The team were driven by desire to victory and more importantly, by meticulous humanistic care. On daily basis, the team was provided with essential nutrients and particularly made & fully equipped container houses, ensuring sound sleep & ready food for the team after working.
