In October of the golden autumn, the Beijing International Wind Energy Conference & Exhibition 2009, an annual wind energy industry event, was held at the China International Exhibition Center. It is an important platform for technical communication and business cooperation in the international wind power industry.

Over 2,000 government officials, representatives of enterprises investing in the wind energy industry, parts and components suppliers, and technology and service providers from all over the world visited the Sinovel Wind Power Exhibition Room and conducted in-depth exchange with Sinovel. They were highly impressed by Sinovel's strong R & D, excellent customer service, wide range of market development, as well as its fruitful achievements in recent years.

It is particularly worth mentioning that the 3MW offshore wind turbine, developed by Sinovel independently, became the focus of attention for various parties in this exhibition. It has advanced technology to meet the world's mainstream uses. The 3MW offshore turbine currently has the most powerful single-machine capacity. On September 4th, the first three sets were formally put into operation at the Shanghai Donghai Bridge 102MW Offshore Wind Farm, the first National Offshore Wind Power Demonstration Project in China. In the media conference held during the exhibition, Mr. Han Janliang, Chairman and President of Sinovel, introduced in detail the 3MW offshore wind turbine investment and its operational situation. He also pleasantly exchanged ideas on the current state of development of the wind power industry and Sinovel's prospects.

Sinovel, as China's first and the World's seventh wind turbine manufacturer, revealed its extraordinary strength in the 3-day exhibition, setting a good example for promoting domestic production of wind power in China.
